Installer II – Cabling

Pay Range: $18-$24/hr.
Supervisor: Project Manager

Job Description:
Capable of installing small to medium cabling project without much supervision. Given initial layout from
Project Manager and be able to take project from that point to completion. Understand and implement
industry standards and manufacturer specifications for cabling installation. Know, understand and
adhere to building codes, along with providing daily reports to Project Manager.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 1-5 years’ experience
• Manufacturer Certifications
• High School Diploma
• Fluent knowledge of all industry standard hand and power tools
  Physical Demands:
• Safely climb ladders
• Cannot be colorblind
• Operate on a ladder/lift
• Work in confined spaces
• Lift 75lbs
• Be able to work night and/or weekends along with occasionally out of town

  Progression Factors:
• Continued Manufacturer Certifications
• Should level 2 at minimum on two manufacturer certifications
• BICSI Installer 2 Certification
• Able to pass Cabling Skill Assessment with a score of 85
